New Haven and Allen County are family friendly areas primed to attract businesses through a safe and stable community. I oppose a casino in New Haven or elsewhere in Allen County. Rather than help our beloved area, a casino would hurt the county’s bottom line harm local businesses, increase public safety problems, lower our property values, and encourage risky behaviors while forever changing the character of our community. I urge you, as an elected official and representative of the citizens, to publicly oppose a casino in New Haven and Allen County. Please inform the Indiana General Assembly that Allen County opposes the introduction of any state legislation that would authorize a casino initiative or license transfer to Allen County.
